Scholarships

Campus GATE students can apply for different scholarship opportunities to support their studies:

  • Surplace Scholarship
  • Third Country Scholarship
  • Scholarship for Study Periods in Germany

Depending on the scholarship programme, funding may include:

  • A contribution towards the study fees at the German Jordanian University (GJU).
  • A contribution towards living expenses during the study period.
  • A one-time travel allowance for the study period in Germany.

Please refer to the respective scholarship call for detailed information on the funding provided, eligibility criteria, application process, and deadlines.

Scholarship Duration

The Surplace Scholarship, Third Country Scholarship and Scholarship for Study Periods in Germany are awarded for one academic year and may be renewed for each subsequent year of study, provided that:

  • the scholarship holder maintains consistently above-average academic performance (GPA above 80%);
  • the scholarship holder achieves consistently above-average results in the accompanying German language courses; and
  • funding remains available.

Selection Criteria

Scholarships are awarded to the most outstanding applicants based primarily on academic excellence and performance in the German language courses. If applicants have equal academic and language achievements, motivation will be considered as the deciding factor.
