The German Jordanian University (GJU) was founded in 2005 and is based on a partnership between Germany and Jordan. The university is a unique institution that is characterized by its international orientation, especially the strong German-Jordanian cooperation, and its applied science approach. German-Jordanian partnership
The Technical University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt (THWS) and the German Jordanian University (GJU) form an important German-Jordanian partnership in the field of higher education. This collaboration, based on shared values and principles, offers a unique platform for the exchange of knowledge, culture and innovation between Germany and Jordan.
The partnership enables students from both universities to take part in excellent programmes which focus on employability and innovation. The integration of German teaching methods and quality standards ensures the highest academic standards.
