Jordan accelerates green hydrogen development

The Jordanian government is taking decisive steps towards building a green hydrogen economy as confirmed by H.E. Dr. Saleh Al-Kharabsheh, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, in February during the opening of a workshop on hydrogen legislation. With twelve Memorandums of Understanding and one framework agreement signed with international and local investors, the country is laying the groundwork for large-scale hydrogen project development. This growing commitment to hydrogen - both in Jordan and internationally - aligns directly with the Campus GATE transnational Hosted Programme in Hydrogen Engineering, offered by the Technical University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt (THWS) in collaboration with the German Jordanian University (GJU). This programme equips graduates with advanced hydrogen engineering skills, practical experience and an internationally recognised German degree to become important stakeholders in this innovative field accross cultures, countries and languages.
