Last Sunday, October 5th, we welcomed our new students in the Hosted Programmes Hydrogen Engineering and Advanced Materials Engineering. The kick-off event was attended by GJU President, Prof. Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli, and THWS Vice-President, Prof. Achim Förster, who officially inaugurated the meeting.

During the event, we welcomed the third batch of pre-year students in the Hydrogen Engineering degree, and our first cohort of students in the newly launched Advanced Materials Engineering programme. Both majors were introduced in detail by their respective professors.

The event also served as a farewell to the 2024-25 pre-year batch, as we celebrated their success in completing the pre-year and officially welcomed them to THWS. We were also joined by German students from THWS, who are currently in Jordan for a joint project with the Hydrogen Student Club, and they attended the kick-off event. Throughout the day, students had the opportunity to engage with their peers, professors, and Campus GATE team, and get to know the GJU Main Campus facilities.

We are delighted to see how our transnational family continues to grow, and look forward to further collaboration and success.

We wish all our students the very best for this new semester!
