Surplace and Third Country Scholarships
The scholarships consist of:
- A lump sum that covers part of the study fees at GJU (2,500 Euro per year, paid in two instalments). Please find an overview of the study fees of the Social Work programme here.
- A lump sum that covers part of the monthly costs of living (600 Euro per month, paid in regular instalments).
The Surplace- and Third Country-Scholarships are granted per year and may be extended each subsequent year of the studies under the following conditions:
- the performance of the scholarship holders stays consistently above average (GPA above 80%)
- the performance of the scholarship holders in the German language courses accompanying the degree programmes is consistently above average and
- funds provided by DAAD remain available.
